Michel Georgis - Executive Vice President Human Resources
Since 1 January 2012 Michel Georgis is the Executive Vice President Human Resources. From June 2007 until December 2011, Mr. Georgis was the Executive Vice President of the Consumer Business Unit Belgacom.
Mr. Georgis is also the Chairman of Skynet and Tango Luxembourg Boards and member of the Committee for Development of Belgian Sports (Belgian Olympic Committee). As of May 2005 and until the integration in January 2010, Mr. Georgis was the CEO of Proximus (Belgacom Mobile).
Prior to this position he was as of January 2004 the Chief Operations Officer at Proximus. He joined Proximus in January 2000 as Executive Vice President Sales, Marketing & Customer Operations. Mr. Georgis started his career in 1977 at Coca-Cola Belgium. In 1991 he joined Interbrew, where he filled different positions before becoming Sales & Marketing Director Central & Eastern Europe.
Mr. Georgis holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Leuven.
