Belgacom provides a place to stay for homeless people

UPDATE : Our building in Ixelles will also be welcoming about a 50 homeless people the coming nights.

To avoid people having to spend the night out in the cold, Belgacom is installing about a hundred beds in its building in Schaerbeek. Homeless people will be welcomed there for the night: a roof above their head, heating, water, toilets, a hot meal, and breakfast.
We’re also looking into other buildings that could possibly be made available temporarily.
We’ve also launched an sms campaign amongst our employees to collect money for the homeless. Belgacom will triple the collected amount amongst our colleagues.
